According to Veeam’s 2022 Ransomware Trends Report, 94% of attackers attempt to destroy backup repositories — and 72% of the time, they at least partially succeed. With backups now in the crosshairs, proactive IT leaders are turning to solutions that include immutability and air gapping for complete data protection. How should you go about incorporating at least one of these data protection methods into your technology stack and processes?
